Bio

Daco Junior, born Sebastian Da Costa hails from South-Central Africa, Angola. Daco Junior moved to Northern Europe Finland in 1990 alongside his father and mother, in search for a better life. When growing up, talented youngster soon learned the way to express himself through writing lyrics and found his speciality in hip hop music.
 
Daco made his breakthrough after releasing the debut single “Sane” in early 2011 under his own label Unidream Music. Official remake of The Ark’s hit “It Takes A Fool To Remain Sane” turned out to be a successful release and later on caught the medias attention in Scandinavia. The effort and work put in to the release paid off but Daco knew that there was more to be done!
 
About half a year later Daco released a follow up single “Gravity”. The single charted #1 for two weeks in a row and spent over 15 weeks on top positions of the chart in Finlands national radio, YleX. “Gravity” was also awarded as the most wanted track of the 2011 by YleX . The music video was on MTV Finlands rotation and media, yet again, praised the newcomer and titled him as the “future prospect”!
 
Now Daco is signed to Universal Music Finland and is working on his debut album “Heartbeat Solo” which is to be released in spring 2012.
